The Music in the Fanta Fruit Slam Game is Driving Me Insane

Published: January 01, 0001 Reading Time: Approx. 8 mins
There’s a new Fanta advergame on rummy 51 Facebook and iOS, giving fans of the increasingly popular soft drink a chance to slowly succumb to the madness of its thumping, giggling theme music. Fanta Fruit Slam isn’t all that bad for a game that is advertising the syrupy-sweet fruit soda line. Utilizing Unity 3D, developer Fishlabs Entertainment has built a cute little fruit-tossing game, think snowball fight but with strawberries, pineapples and other assorted produce. It’s got single and multiplayer against friends and strangers, leaderboards, unlockable characters and power-ups.(new rummy best Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ rummy 51 playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); It also has the most hideous menu music in the history of menus. It starts off fine, just rummy golds a beat and some rummy best low bass keys. rummy golds Then a girl giggles and everything goes insane. There are high-pitched oooos, strange electronic voices chanting rhythmically—it’s the sort of music you start tapping your foot to until you realize the bounciness is layered atop dark chords meant to summon dark things from the edge of time into our world. You can turn the music off, of course, and that leaves you with an okay game about throwing fruit at people. Some games take a while to load on mobile, but once they start, the gameplay is smooth and exciting. I hope future updates improve mobile performance, but I still enjoy playing several hours a day.

The bonuses are nice and offer great value, although they could be a bit more frequent. I love being part of the VIP program, which gives me extra rewards and makes me feel appreciated as a loyal player.
